ISRO launches NVS-03 satellite to boost NavIC, improve GPS-like navigation access for civilians

Equipped with an indigenous Rubidium atomic clock and the L1 frequency band, the satellite is expected to improve navigation accuracy, civilian access through smartphones and wearable devices, and reliable timing services across sectors.
